My mission as a photographer is to create warm, authentic, beautiful images that are a true reflection of who you are -- not just what you look like.

I started my portrait business -- rather accidentally, I'm afraid -- more than 15 years ago, when my own children were quite young.  Over this time, I have had the honor and privilege of working with many families throughout the full course of their kids' childhood, and in recent years, I have very happily leaned into specializing in photographing families with older kids: tweens, teens and beyond. 

My clients are parents, much like myself, who are finding themselves with an emptying nest (or see one not-so-far down the road) and simultaneously wondering what the heck happened while marveling at the fine young adults their babies have turned into.  And my clients are grandparents, from the awestruck first-timers to those who have have perfected the art and science of grandparenting and provide me with ongoing inspiration and excitement about the joys I have yet to experience first-hand.

Regardless of my clients' age or stage, I work with a relaxed and low-key approach that is focused on capturing genuine expressions, loving connections, and natural beauty. I strive to provide an experience for you to enjoy and share with the people you love the most. And, perhaps most importantly, I work closely with my clients to create custom portraits and albums that will be treasured for a lifetime.
